We are seeking a part-time dishwasher to work during peak hours on Saturdays at our storefront location. 

Qualifications:

• Food Handlers ServSafe Certification (a brief online course)
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long hours (4-8 hours)
• Prior commercial kitchen experience a plus

 Job Description:

• Efficiently wash, sanitize, dry, and organize into correct storage all dishes produced from the bakery’s production and service.
• Keep kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition, adhering to sanitation standards.
• Maintain general cleanliness within the dish area.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed.

 Hours:

• Saturdays, 10am - 2pm

Compensation:

• $12-15/hour
• One free loaf per shift

 We are seeking a baker with extensive pastry knowledge to work with our team in the production of cakes and pastries at our storefront location. There may be some crossover in bread production, but the majority of work will be making cakes, fillings (mousses, pastry cream, etc), scones, muffins, brioche, galettes, and pate a choux. 

Qualifications:

• Food Manager ServSafe Certification
• Passion for food, cooking, and/or baking
• 2 years minimum professional experience, preferably in restaurants
• Willingness to wake up early (earliest shift is 6am) and work for 8+ hours (with breaks, of course)
• Ability to teach baking classes in the evenings
• Service experience a plus

 Job Description/Requirements:

• Works with head baker(s) to complete an array of bakery tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Production of doughs and batters
  • Production of cakes, fillings, buttercream, including baking, assembling, and finishing
  • Baking off product for the storefront
• Keeps workspace clean and organized, able to multitask, and has great attention to detail
• Able to lift 50 lbs (we get big bags of flour!)
• Willingness to do dishes, mop, etc (no designated dishwasher; all bakery staff share this responsibility)
• Willingness to wait on customers as needed

Hours:

•  4 days a week, shifts can range from 6am-2pm // 8am-3pm shifts, averaging 25-30 hours per week. 

Compensation:

• $15-17 hour, based on experience
