For most perishable items baked and crafted by our skilled staff (excluding custom-ordered cakes, listed separately below), our refund policy is as follows:
- If you place a pre-order and do not pick up your order, we cannot give a refund. If something has prevented you from picking up your order, please contact our storefront by phone or email as soon as possible. We will do our best to make accommodations, but we cannot make any guarantees.
- If there is a defect in your product, please contact us directly by email. Return the item promptly, or the portion remaining, within 2 days of pick up. If we determine there is a quality deficiency, we will provide you a proportionate refund for the amount returned. We retain the right to judge our product quality for ourselves.
- If you try one of our products and just don't care for it, then we hope you try something different next time; however, a refund will not be given.
- Cancellations and/or changes for cake orders must be made at least 4 business days in advance of the scheduled pick up time. Please email us directly with any changes, and know that not all changes can be accommodated. Store credit will be issued for cancellations received with proper notice.
- No refund will be given ever for an amount in excess of the original purchase price, regardless of circumstance.
For wedding or special-order cakes, our changes/cancellations and refund policy is as follows:
- We require a 50% deposit for all large, specialty, or wedding cake orders; this deposit is required to secure the date.
- You must contact us at least 14 days prior of the order pick-up/delivery date to make any changes to the original order.
- You must contact us at least 14 days prior of the order pick-up/delivery date to cancel, after which a full refund of the deposit will be granted.
- Your final payment must also be made at least 14 days prior to the order pick-up/delivery.
- If Third Space Bakery is providing the delivery of the cake, we are responsible for the cake until it reaches its destination. We are not responsible for orders once they leave our possession or premises. We will however provide instructions for transportation, storage, and serving.
- Third Space Bakery reserves the right to use pictures of any cake created by Third Space Bakery in any way it deems fit, including, but not limited to, postings on social media and advertisement.

- You can also send someone in your place if you are unable to attend a class or an event.
- If it is within 48 hours of a class or event and you are suddenly unable to attend, please call our storefront at 412-701-9165 to notify us. Although no refund will be given, we may be able to set aside certain deliverables for you to pick up at a later time.

- If there is inclement weather that poses a risk to the safety of roads and/or access to or use of the building, or if the instructor falls ill and an instructor substitution cannot be made, the class or event may be cancelled or rescheduled at any time. If cancelled, full refunds will be given. If rescheduled, participants will be notified of the new event time via the email address provided with registration. Once a new date/time is sent out to participants by email, participants have 48 hours to respond by email if they are unable to attend the rescheduled time and would like to request a refund or credit towards a different class.
- If you have dietary restrictions, please contact us via email at least 48 hours before class as we cannot make accommodations during class. We can attempt to modify your experience, but not all situations are adaptable. If ingredients are unavailable, we reserve the right to change the menu.
